New Harbor Capital Portfolio Company Advent Home Medical Hires Chief Executive Officer

New Harbor Capital is excited to announce that portfolio company Advent Home Medical (“Advent”, “the Company”) has hired Chad Eckes as Chief Executive Officer.

Advent is a leading, at-home respiratory care company providing comprehensive, high-quality services and medical equipment to patients throughout their post-acute lifecycle.

Chad Eckes brings over 31 years of healthcare, technology, and financial services experience to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Advent Home Medical. His experience includes leadership roles at specialty, multi-site private equity platforms, academic health systems, and large, faith-based health systems.

His prior experience includes numerous leadership positions within various healthcare, insurance, and consulting companies. Chad recently served as Chief Executive Officer at QualDerm Partners/Pinnacle Dermatology, a private equity-backed company. During his tenure, he spearheaded Pinnacle’s growth and played a pivotal role in its successful exit. He also served as Executive Vice President – Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Information Officer at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Additionally, he held roles as Vice President at New Resources Consulting, and Senior Director and Controller at Sentry Insurance.

Chad holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. He also holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
