New Harbor Capital (“New Harbor”) is excited to announce that portfolio company Respire Homecare Services (“Respire”, “the Company”) has hired Kimiko Boyd as Chief Operating Officer.

Founded in 2004 in Pontiac, MI, Respire Homecare Services is an accredited, full-service respiratory care provider delivering compassionate, personalized, home-based solutions for patients with complex needs.

Kimiko Boyd brings more than 15 years of healthcare operations experience to her role as Chief Operating Officer of Respire Homecare Services. She has a track record of building scalable infrastructure, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving sustained performance in complex, multi-site healthcare environments.

Most recently, Kimiko served as COO at Advanced MedAesthetic Partners and Concert Health, where she led company-wide operating model redesigns, scaled centralized transformation functions, and delivered significant gains in clinical throughput, team retention, and enterprise margin. She has also held senior leadership roles at Mindpath Health (formerly Community Psychiatry, a New Harbor portfolio company that was exited in a successful sale to Mindpath in 2020), Pacific Pulmonary, and DaVita Rx—spanning behavioral health, DME, pharmacy, and tech-enabled care delivery.

Kimiko is known for her pragmatic, human-centered leadership style and her ability to translate strategy into execution at scale. She has a strong foundation in value-based care, clinician enablement, and M&A integration, and is deeply committed to building cultures that empower frontline teams to thrive.

She holds a degree in Communications from UC San Diego and is based in Dallas, Texas.
