New Harbor Capital (“New Harbor”) is excited to announce that portfolio company FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers (“FYZICAL”, “the Company”) has hired Wayne Cavanaugh as Chief Executive Officer.
FYZICAL is the fastest-growing physical therapy franchise in the United States, with over 600 open locations in 46 states, and is headquartered in Sarasota, Florida. FYZICAL is committed to providing patients of all ages with personalized care plans to help treat muscle, joint, and neurological conditions, and deploys proprietary balance and vestibular programs throughout its clinic network.

Wayne previously served as CEO of Family Care Center (“FCC”), a multi-site behavioral health provider. Under his leadership, FCC scaled rapidly and now serves patients across over 40 locations and five states. He also has served as an operating partner and advisor to a number of private equity-backed, multi-site health and wellness companies, including US Renal Care and Liberty Dialysis. He is also the founder of Ninja Nation, a fast-growing franchise in the youth fitness industry. Earlier in his career, Wayne served as Vice President at KRG Capital Partners, where he completed nearly $5 billion in investment transactions.
Wayne holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a finance degree from DePaul University.
