New Harbor Capital Portfolio Company Respire Homecare Services Hires Chief Executive Officer
New Harbor Capital (“New Harbor”) announced today that portfolio company Respire Homecare Services (“Respire”, “the Company”) has hired W. Barry Tanner as Chief Executive Officer.
Founded in 2004 in Pontiac, MI, Respire Homecare Services is an accredited, full-service respiratory care provider delivering compassionate, personalized, home-based solutions for patients with complex needs.

Barry Tanner brings more than five decades of financial and healthcare leadership experience to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Respire Homecare Services. Most recently, he served as CEO of Integrated Oncology Network, a physician-led independent community oncology network.
Barry’s prior leadership roles include President and CEO of PE GI Solutions, Co-Founder, CFO, and COO of Navix Radiology Systems, COO of HealthInfusion, President, COO, and Director of Chancellor Corporation, and President and CEO of Scientific Leasing Corporation. Barry started his career as a CPA with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company (KPMG).
Barry currently serves as Executive Chair of Vision Innovation Partners and is on the boards of several healthcare and private equity-backed organizations, including IPM MSO Holdings, HERO DVO, Smile Partners, Karias Health, Vision Innovation Partners, VIP Medical Group, and Redwood Growth Partners – OrthoNow. He also holds advisory positions with Autonomy Health Partners, Mila Health, and Continuum Health Ventures.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Cum Laude, from Boston College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
