New Harbor Capital is excited to announce that portfolio company FoodPharma has hired John Puckett as President and Chief Operating Officer.
FoodPharma is a contract developer and manufacturer of nutritional foods and dietary supplements, focused on functional bars, soft chews, and confectionery products. The Company leverages a large portfolio of proprietary formulas and recipes, as well as in-house research, development, and formulation capabilities to deliver innovative, functional food products to its customers. It was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Sante Fe Springs, California.

John Puckett brings over 30 years of industry-leading experience in the nutritional supplements, vitamin, OTC, and RX sectors to his position as President and Chief Operating Officer of FoodPharma. He is a facilitator and builder of leading technology management and product development teams, with a specialty in both start-up and scaled growth stages. Prior to joining FoodPharma, John held several senior leadership positions at companies such as Captek Softgel International as COO, Barlean’s as CEO, Banner Pharmacaps, and Cintas. John earned a Master’s degree from the University of Colorado – Boulder and a Bachelor’s degree from Colorado Technical University. A native of Edinburgh Scotland, where much of his family still lives, John is a dual citizen of both the United States and the United Kingdom.
